| For Sale: Chris Alston tube chassis car with 1987 Monte Carlo body. It is certified to 8.90 thru this year. I added mounts to allow the use of a small block Chevy motor, but I do have the front & mid plates for a big block Chevy setup. I'm selling the car as a roller but will sell it turn key if the money is right. Also, I can add or take away parts and adjust the price accordingly to suit your needs. I haven't had the car scaled so I don't know the current weight but it was originally set up to weigh 2700 lbs with a BBC + driver. The rear end is a narrowed Ford 9" with Nodular center section, 5.43 gears, 35 spline strange axles. Goodyear D5 compound 33x15x15 slicks. The entire fiberglass front clip can be taken off by removing 2 pins and turning a couple Quick fasteners. Trunk lid is fiberglass. 3 gallon Fuel cell with Mallory pump, line lock, dual master cylinder with Wilwood brakes, detachable steering wheel with line lock and trans brake buttons. I have a set of BBC Headers & a set of SBC Headers that I could sell with the car. Asking $10,000 for the roller (minus motor, trans and a couple of others parts). More pics available upon request.
